The short version: everything happens on your iPhone.
ScrollPass is built so that your health data, your camera and your app-usage
information never leave your device. We do not run accounts, we do not run our
own servers, and we cannot see your data.
Data processed entirely on your device
Health & motion data (workouts, exercise minutes, steps,
motion-sensor readings for squats): read locally from HealthKit and the iPhone's
motion coprocessor to compute your earned scroll minutes. Never stored outside
your device, never transmitted.
Camera and face data (TrueDepth): used exclusively to count
push-ups in real time. See the dedicated section below.
Screen Time data (which apps you guard, how much you use them):
handled by Apple's Family Controls framework. By Apple's design, this data is not
accessible to us in any identifiable form and stays on the device.
Face data (TrueDepth camera)
The push-up counter uses the front camera. On iPhones with a TrueDepth sensor,
ScrollPass uses Apple's ARKit face tracking to measure the distance between your
face and the device; on devices without one, it uses a standard camera-based
estimate.
What is processed: camera frames and TrueDepth depth and
face-geometry data, used solely to measure the face-to-device distance and count
push-up repetitions during an active session.
Storage and retention: frames and face data are processed in
memory in real time and discarded immediately after each frame. They are never
written to disk, never stored, and are retained for zero time beyond the live
processing of the session.
Sharing and disclosure: face data is never shared with us or
with any third party, and is never transmitted off your iPhone. It is not used
for identification, authentication, advertising or any purpose other than
counting push-ups.
Deletion: because no face data is ever stored, there is
nothing to delete when a session ends or when you uninstall the app.
The one thing that does leave your device
Subscription state. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we use
RevenueCat to validate receipts and manage subscription status.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier, your purchase
receipt, and anonymous app milestones (e.g. onboarding progress) used to improve
the product. It never receives your name, email, health data, camera data or the
list of apps you block. See

What we never collect
No accounts, no emails, no names, no location, no advertising identifiers,
no tracking across apps, no selling of data — because we never have it in the
first place.
Your rights (GDPR & equivalents)
Since your data lives on your iPhone, deleting the app deletes it. For the
anonymous subscription record held by RevenueCat, you can request erasure by
emailing caio@detrasdelcodigo.com
and we will process it within 30 days.
Children
ScrollPass is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly
process their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with
an updated date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
